A bonded bronze statue of the Minotaur stands in attack mode, his muscular frame poised in an aggressive stance. His hands grip a double axe, ready to strike, showcasing raw power and menace. The Minotaur, a half-man, half-bull creature, was born from Pasiphae's union with a bull, a punishment from the gods. He was imprisoned in the labyrinth, a complex maze designed by Daedalus on King Minos's orders. Every year, Athens sent youths as tribute to be sacrificed. The Minotaur's reign ended when the hero Theseus navigated the labyrinth, slaying the beast with the help of Ariadne's thread.
