A bonded bronze statue of the Minotaur stands on two feet, gripping a double axe, exuding raw power and menace. The Minotaur, a half-man, half-bull creature, was born from the cursed union between Queen Pasiphae and a sacred bull, conceived by the wrath of Poseidon. Trapped in the labyrinth by King Minos, he was a symbol of both monstrosity and tragedy. The myth ends with the hero Theseus, who, aided by Ariadne’s thread, enters the labyrinth, defeats the beast, and ends its reign of terror, restoring peace to Crete.
