Corinthian Helmet — Icon of the Greek Phalanx Warrior 15 cm

This helmet belongs to the Corinthian type, a form widely used by hoplite infantry during the late Archaic and early Classical periods. Characterized by its full facial coverage, narrow eye openings, and elongated nose guard, the design prioritized protection while presenting a unified and imposing appearance on the battlefield.

The surface bears incised ornamental elements, including subtle linear motifs and decorative detailing above the brow. Such embellishments served both aesthetic and symbolic purposes, reflecting regional craftsmanship and the status of the wearer.
