This bonded bronze figure is an exact replica of the iconic Nike of Samothrace, renowned for its dynamic form and flowing drapery. The original sculpture, created around 190 BCE, was discovered in 1863 on the island of Samothrace, Greece, in the Sanctuary of the Great Gods. Believed to commemorate a naval victory, it depicts the winged goddess Nike landing triumphantly on the prow of a ship. The statue is celebrated for its sense of movement and realism. Today, the original masterpiece is housed in the Louvre Museum in Paris, standing as a symbol of victory and artistic excellence.
