The imagery closely relates to the celebrated <strong data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"507\">bull\u2019s-head rhyton discovered at Knossos<\/strong>, now displayed in the <strong data-start=\"530\" data-end=\"574\">Heraklion Archaeological Museum in Crete<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"617\" data-end=\"1071\">The original artifact was a ceremonial libation vessel carved from <strong data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"757\">black steatite with inlaid details of rock crystal, jasper, and shell<\/strong>, used in ritual offerings to the gods. The bull held deep religious significance in Minoan culture and appears frequently in art and palace decoration, reflecting rituals and myths associated with power, fertility, and sacred ceremony.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1073\" data-end=\"1410\">These traditions later influenced the Greek myth of the <strong data-start=\"1129\" data-end=\"1141\">Minotaur<\/strong>, the legendary creature said to dwell in the labyrinth of King Minos at Knossos.
