Today, the restored fresco fragments are housed in the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Heraklion Archaeological Museum<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"1321\">The Ladies in Blue depict elegantly dressed women wearing elaborate coiffures, open bodices, and layered garments, reflecting the sophistication and prominence of women in Minoan society. Their poised gestures and refined appearance suggest participation in ritual or courtly ceremonies within the palace\u2019s religious and social life. Minoan frescoes were created using mineral pigments applied to wet plaster, resulting in vivid imagery that conveyed movement and vitality.
